Sunflower & Mustard

Sunflowers(Helianthus) is widely used as a commercial crop vividly used for the purpose of oil extraction, the oil is well known for its health benefits. The domesticated sunflower, H. annuus, is the most familiar species. Perennial sunflower species are not as popular for gardens due to their tendency to spread rapidly.

Mustard(Brassica and Sinapis) plant is a plant species in the genera in the family Brassicaceae. Mustard seed is used as a spice. Grinding and mixing the seeds with water, vinegar, or other liquids creates the yellow condiment known as prepared mustard. The seeds can also be pressed to make mustard oil, and the edible leaves can be eaten as mustard greens.
